FOCUSED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE 24 HOURS A DAY SEVEN DAYS A WEEK
Europcar, Europe’s leading car rental company has launched the industry’s first 24 hour, seven day a week customer service centre.
Previous opening hours were 9am-5.30pm but following extensive customer research the company took the decision to provide an around-the-clock service.
“We are continually looking at ways to enhance our service and as such regularly survey customers to ask them how we can improve our proposition,” says Frank Garofalo, Head of Customer Service & Data Management at Europcar.
“We increasingly operate within a 24/7 culture so it made perfect sense to enhance our service so that customers can contact us any minute of any day.”
In addition to the extended opening hours, Europcar has made considerable investment in the centre’s infrastructure, with the installation of a bespoke software programme and the introduction of a new telephony system.
