NEW TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER JOINS EUROPCAR
Europcar, Europe’s leading car rental company has appointed Simon Harper as training and development manager.
He joins Europcar with a wealth of training and development experience gained over the past ten years through a number of positions in the rental industry in UK and Europe.
Commenting on his appointment Simon Harper says: “I am a big advocate of learning for everyone and my aim is to establish a focused development programme for all employees enabling them to enhance their skills base and develop our business.”
The appointment is part of an organisation-wide strategy to analyse and further enhance Europcar’s sales and customer service delivery.
Europcar’s UK customer service centre has recently been extended to operate a 24/7 service and a training consultancy has been appointed to evaluate existing service levels and develop a comprehensive training programme for sales and customer service staff.
“Simon’s appointment will provide us with a dedicated training resource to ensure that everyone at Europcar is motivated, skilled and able play a part in driving the business forward,” says Marie Barry, Managing Director at Europcar.
