Europcar UK ambassador and Somerset cricketer Marcus Trescothick has taken delivery of a new Audi Q7, marking the continuation of his long-term partnership with Europes leading car rental company.
Car enthusiast Trescothick, who was last week named in the provisional squad for the forthcoming Twenty20 World Cup, has been a Europcar ambassador since 2003 and Europcar is confident that the smooth and comfortable ride to the cricket ground in the luxurious Q7 will help his pre-match preparation.
I am delighted to be able to continue my association with Europcar, he said. The Q7 is not only a stunning car to look at but is also great to drive.
Trescothick, who was awarded an MBE in 2005, has had a successful season with Somerset, scoring 715 runs at an average of 65 in the County Championship.
