(Paris / Beijing, February 13, 2008) – Europcar today announced that it will start serving customers in Beijing on March 1st, in preparation for the Olympic Games to be held this August.
The move marks Europcars entry into the Chinese market and reinforces the companysposition and ongoing development in the Asia-Pacific region.
Europcar will initially be offering two types of service in the Chinese capital: a DailyChauffeur Service for people wanting to travel within or discover Beijing, and a transferservice between the city and Beijing Capital International Airport. To cater to the needs of international travellers, Europcar China will offer services in English, apply strict quality standards and draw on the expertise of local professional chauffeurs withextensive knowledge of the city and its highlights.
Europcars services are being offered in partnership with a leading car rental operator in Beijing.
