The festival celebrates London’s significance as one of the world’s culinary capitals. Now growing out of its infancy, this year will be the seventh year it has been running. As the countdown continues, foodies are already lined up with fork and knife in hand wiping the drool off their mouths. And they have a lot to be excited about in all honesty. The festival is comprised of two main elements; festival menus and festival tours all happening during the 1st-31st October. We give you an overview of the tours below. But first get behind the wheel of your car hire and buckle up.
All over the city London’s finest and most cherished restaurants are providing special festival menus. Tables will be available to book starting from September, suiting everyone from fine diners and to humble pub lovers. If there was ever a time to sample food at those numerous restaurants you have heard so much about, it’s now!
As is the case with most festivals, you haven’t earned the right to be called a festival if you don’t plan to educate and excite your audience. As much as food lovers want to eat they also want to know what types of wines to pair with the dishes they will try and replicate at home when it’s all over. London Restaurant Festival makes its contribution to this notion by hosting master classes, wine tasting, select menus brought to you by popular restaurants and establishments. This year’s events are not out yet however if last year’s events are anything to go by you’re in good hands.
